SEASON OPENING SPECIAL EVENT "SOMETIMES
I CRY" - Written, Directed and Performed by Stage, Film & Television Actress, SHERYL LEE RALPH Sometimes I Cry is the one-woman show conceived and written by acclaimed,
Tony-nominated actress of stage, television and film, Sheryl Lee Ralph. Also, an AIDS activist, Ms. Ralph’s Sometimes
I Cry was inspired by real women’s life stories and their battles with HIV and AIDS. Sometimes I Cry creatively examines
the female struggle when coping with HIV and AIDS. The chronicles of these women from diverse backgrounds and cultures are
experienced as writer, performer Sheryl Lee Ralph explores through word, movement and song, just how each woman copes with
her new reality. Ms. Ralph becomes each character, with every move and every gesture, breathing life into them and their stories.
Also, the evening includes Adrienne Bankert of KCRA News as the Mistress of Ceremonies, local, talented vocalists, Ms. Aladrian
Elmore and Mr. Bill Miller singing a medley of hits, audience participation - a talk back with Ms. Ralph, and a dessert reception
is after the show.

PREMIERE Shows: Friday & Saturdays, 8:00 pm; Sundays, 3:00 pm Written and Directed by Lisa Lacy As Solomon Turner's past and present collide, he fights to make sense of his life and to find its meaning
and purpose. He finds worth in his young neighbor Tyler Brown, a 12 year old boy who is seeking to define himself, in a house
filled with women and a neighborhood full of bullies. The father and son relationship deepens between them as each one struggles
to say goodbye to all he has known and the other searches to find his place in a life that is just beginning to emerge. When
adversity strikes, each must decide what it means to truly live up to one’s potential. Solomon’s Storefront is
a human story about life, loss, the aging process, youth and what it meant during the 1960s, to be a Black man, growing or
grown in America.

present, remembering the struggles, celebrating our progress as a people and country, while reminding us that regardless of
ethnicity, we need to keep pressing forward together, in order to keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream alive.

the Sign follows the Tate family after their 12 year-old daughter is killed by a stray bullet. After their neighbors
refuse to come forward with information to bring the killer to justice, Mr. Tate in his frustration hangs up an accusatory
sign calling them cowards. The neighbors react with aggression. The play raises questions of how non-violent people respond
to infectious violence and restrain their fury at their community and society's complacency. It urges us to ask the question
"how can we prevent young men from becoming alienated and violent like Zooman's? "(Language not suitable
for small children)

is Racisim Funny? When veteran comedian, actor, writer, film-maker and San Francisco radio show host Donald
E. Lacy Jr. uses a unique blend of comedy, personal experience, and drama to examine the social ill of racism and it's
imposing influence on his early life. COLORSTRUCK examines the differences
and misunderstandings that lead to racism. It is the poignant story of how a light-skinned African-American is treated
and sometimes, ridiculed by darker-skinned Black people. Post performance discussion allows
