 SELECTED ARTISTS RECEIVE:

    RULES & GUIDELINES
Applicants, please review, follow and provide the necessary information.

  •  INTERNATIONAL BAND BLAST application entry period closes at 7:00 p.m. on November 10, 2011.  All applications, fees, & recording samples must be received (not postmarked) by the above date and time to be considered eligible for International Band Blast.        
  •        The minimum age requirement is 18 years and all performers must be able to proficiently perform R&B/pop cover songs from popular artists.  Mature artists encouraged. 

  • Bands must be comprised of up to 5 members, two of which must be male and female vocalists. 

  •   All applicants must include a self-addressed envelope so that we are able to reply and return items to you, as appropriate.   

  •  If you are not accepted during the initial screening/pre-selection process, your application fee/materials minus a $20.00 administration/processing fee shall   be returned by the self-address envelope that you have provided.

     

  • As a part of your application process, please print and return the following materials, in either hard copy or electronically, as appropriate. The application can be found clicking on the navigational page marked Band Blast Application, after the Rules & Guidelines.       

          A.  Completed Application.  Needs to be signed by the Band Leader.   

          B.  Each application shall be accompanied by an application fee of $20.00 per band member or up to $100.00 for a 5 person band.  

          C.  Please send application fee in the form of a money order or cashier's check made out to Images Theatre Company.  (Personal checks not accepted)

          D.  Promotional Group photos.   

          E.  Media reviews, if available. 

    F.  Each band and/or solo artist that is competing is required to submit electronically (preferred) or hard copy, a video presentation of a minimum of 3 

         songs. Audio is accepted, video is preferred.    

     

    G.  List past performances.

   Please mail all of the hard copy materials with the appropriate amount money order or cashier’s check to following address:

    If forwarding the video or audio recording electronically, please email to Ms. Lisa Lacy at lisa.lacy817@gmail.com
  •  With the email audio/video presentation, please include the name of all band members including vocalists in the body of the email.  Also, please identify the designated band leader and the primary contact person’s email address and phone number. 

  •  If your band is selected, you will be contacted by email and given a performance time for either November 25th or November 26th. 
  • You must confirm via by email by November 20, 2011. 

  •  The location for INTERNATIONAL BAND BLAST is PO’ BOYZ BAR &  GRILL,
  • 9580 Oak Avenue Pkwy # 8, Folsom, CA 95630 on the above dates.
  • Each band’s performance time shall be 30 minutes. 

  • After each performance, the band shall briefly meet with Gary’s and ITC representatives. 

 All performing acts shall be contacted via email by Gary’s International Booking Agent within 30 days concerning their future opportunities and the potential  of their performing at Garys  

  •   Bands with current valid U.S. passports shall receive more immediate consideration.  

SOLOIST  VOCALISTS    
 Gary’s occasionally hires vocalists to play with local bands in Japan.  
  
   If interested in applying please mail the information listed above in 6, with the exception of the application fee.

            

           Your application and DVD shall be reviewed and if appropriate, placed on file  in the event that solo vocalists are needed in the future.
